Get Out The Holiday Funk W/ Fun Places to Go This Jan!

We are exactly a week into 2019 and the after effects of the holiday season are putting us in a funk! With no more Christmas parties or bomb ass New Year's fits it is no wonder why everyone is in a slump going back to their ordinary lives this week. We've got something for you guys to get you out of the January funk and keep the fun spirit of the holidays going for another month! 

Things To Do:

Winter Jazz Fest: This is for all our R&B and Jazz lovers out there. You know R&B is just the offspring of jazz music; so this would be the perfect event to get cultured! This one week festival (from Jan 4th-13th) features over 700 artist that perform in different venues all over New York City. Make sure to catch it before it's gone. 

New York City Restaurant Week: Even though the holiday dinners are over that doesn't mean you can't eat good this January. Hit up this festival (Jan. 21- Feb 8th) to eat 3-course meals or any other lunch specials for less. Even enjoy a beautiful dinner for cheaper prices at many well known restaurants. Don't worry if you can't make it out to the festival this winter, because a part two of NYC's Restaurant Week begins later this year! We'll keep you up to date. 

Pictures Under The Palms: A date night doesn't have to only come around during Valentine's Day! Take your boo to a movie and beyond! See your favorite films while in the warmth of the indoors and under the ambience of tropical palm trees. The event offers free popcorn, comfy seats, and a pre-show DJ set at 5:30PM, followed by a 7PM movie screening. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis.

Chelsea Art Galleries: This city host one of largest collections of art galleries in the world. These galleries are stretched across a number of locations in a number of gallery districts that include the UES, LES, Midtown and Soho! Not to forget certain parts of Brooklyn and Queens. But the biggest neighborhood by far is in Chelsea, home of NYC's largest art galleries, with a total 350 in all. 

See The Scenery @ Central Park: Even though it’s cold out during January, walking around Central Park during the winter is still a magical event. There is so much more to explore than just a part of Central Park take a long walk and smell the sizzling NYC roasted peanuts!
