Diddy and Cassie's split just got really messy!
According to TMZ, Cassie's new boyfriend, Alex Fine, is her former trainer, who was hired by her ex, Diddy, to train her over the last year. Given the sticky circumstances of how the new couple met, (Diddy was, in fact, Alex's employer), Diddy sources told the gossip site that the business/ hip-hop mogul feels betrayed because he believes Cassie and Alex hooked up before they split earlier this year.
However, "sources connected to Alex and Cassie insist the two did NOT start dating until after she broke up with Diddy," TMZ reports.
As fans know, Cassie revealed her new boyfriend over the holiday weekend, just months after it was announced the "Me & U" singer called it quits on her 11-year relationship with Diddy. The 32-year-old singer shared a photo of her celebrating the holidays with her family and Alex, who is also a bull rider, in an Instagram post that showed the two making out in a photo just below one featuring the two standing beside Cassie's mom.
Alex also confirmed their relationship on Instagram, making it clear who he plans on rocking with in 2019 by sharing a cozied-up photo of him and Cassie on the beach, with the caption: "'19." Cass later shared the same photo to her Instagram Story with the words "baby" over it.
LoveBScott broke the news in September that Cassie and Diddy split. "They are indeed no longer together and haven’t been for months," Cassie's rep told the site at the time. However, weeks later, in celebration of the business mogul's 49th birthday, the "Love a loser" singer shared a photo of Diddy alongside a sweet message that left many wondering if the on-again-off-again couple was back on. "Happy Birthday, King," Cassie captioned a picture of her seemingly on-again beau on her Instagram Story. The post additionally featured a red heart emoji.
Adding to the reconciliation speculation, Diddy was spotted reuniting with Cassie just one day after the death of the mogul's ex Kim Porter in November. However, it's safe to say, Diddy and Cassie probably won't be reconciling anytime soon, if ever.
