Let the sneak dissing continue! Nicki Minaj has seemingly responded to her fight with Cardi B, and it, of course, came in the form of a shady Instagram video.
On Sunday (September 9), the "Bed" rapper, posted a video of herself listening to her single, "Hard White." While the track — off her recently released album Queen — may seem innocent to the untrained Nicki Minaj fan ear, it's long been a highly-speculated Cardi diss track.
“I ain’t never played a hoe position. I ain’t ever have to strip to get the pole position," Nicki raps on the track. "Hoes is dissin’? Okay, these hoes is wishin’. You’re in no position to come for O’s position.”
As fans know, the song was first seen as a Cardi diss since it seemingly says a stripper is coming for her "position" in the rap industry. Cardi, who rose to fame after years as a stripper, has never shied away from talking about her past. In May, Cardi told Cosmopolitan, “People say, ‘Why do you always got to say that you used to be a stripper? We get it.’ Because y’all don’t respect me because of it, and y’all going to respect these strippers from now on.”
Nicki's "Hard White" jam session came days after her fight with Cardi at Harper’s Bazaar ICONS Fashion Week party. On Friday (September 7), Cardi was caught on camera throwing a shoe at Nicki, before being escorted out of the event.
Following the incident, Cardi took to Instagram to give her side of the story. “I've let a lot of sh*t slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you like on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, f**k up the way I eat! You've threaten other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you'll stop f**kin with them!! I let you talk big sh*t about me," she wrote. "I addressed you once in person, and every time you copped the plea!! But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f**kin off!! I’ve worked to hard and come too far to let anybody f**k with my success!!!!”
