Buzzfeed & Hulu To Produce A Documentary About R Kelly's Alleged Sex Cult

Whew, Chile the mess...

Looks as if the allegations surrounding R. Kelly for the past decades may be coming to light in a new documentary that is set to be produced by none other than Buzzfeed. According to Variety, the company is teaming up with online streaming powerhouse Hulu to develop the series based off of Chicago based reporter Jim Regotais who has exposed R Kelly on multiple occasion including the 2001 tape showing R. Kelly with an underage girl. DeReogtais has been following Kelly's career very closely and has spoken to many women who have claimed to be victims of the singer's alleged sex cult.

While there aren't many details surrounding the project as of yet Buzzfeed's Vice President Shani Hilton did say this about the production of the documentary “It just seemed obvious that we should be more in the show space. But we also really wanted to do things that felt premium and high level, and not just social video.” according to The Source
