On Friday (Oct. 27) night, Offset proposed to Cardi B on the 2017 Power 99 Powerhouse stage and it was the biggest moment of the entire show!
Along with his fellow Migos members, Offset invited Cardi out to perform their new collab with Nicki Minaj entitled "Motor Sport." Everything was going fine until Offset dropped down on one knee and held a huge, 8-carat ring up to his girlfriend and asked her to marry him.
Cardi, as well as everyone in the audience, completely lost it when this happened. "When I'm getting on the stage, I see my mom behind me and I'm like, 'Mom? What the hell you doing here?'" Cardi told Power 99 Powerhouse's Mina Saywhat about the moment. "Girl, I couldn't even see his mouth. All I could see was Jesus Christ! I just said, 'Yes.'"
Since the proposal, fans have been reacting on social media. Many people are very happy that Cardi and Offset are going to tie the knot. Unfortunately, others are coming off a bit salty about the news.
One person whose response to the engagement has left people scratching their heads comes from Offset's baby mama, Oriel Jamie. On social media, she posted an interesting message about her and Offset's son never even meeting Cardi. After getting some backlash about her note, Jamie added that it wasn't shade and that she isn't bothered.
