New York City's Central Park will turn into an all-star music hub on September 24 when Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Metallica and many more acts take over the grounds for this year's installment of Global Citizen Festival, which aims to bring attention to worldwide poverty.
On Tuesday (July 26), the festival announced their 2016 lineup and it's impressive. Not only will the aforementioned hit the stage, but there will be sets by Major Lazer, Usher, Ellie Goulding, Selena Gomez, Yandel and special guest appearances from Eddie Vedder, Chris Martin, and Yusuf Islam, a.k.a. Cat Stevens.
As with previous years, tickets to the event are free but only obtainable by getting your charity work on by tweeting or emailing politicians to sign petitions. Head to their official website to learn more details about how you can participate.
