Quincy Homere, 32, and Jamar Hill , 26, were arrested this past Thursday, in connection to the 2015 drive-by killing of rapper Lionel “Chinx Drugz” Pickens. Both Homere and Hill were already incarcerated on unrelated charges, when they were arrested for the shooting.
On May 17, 2015, Chinx was at a red light on Queens Blvd. in Briarwood when his silver Porsche was approached by another vehicle. At least one of the involved suspects opened fire, leaving Pickens with 15 bullet wounds. Prosecutors say both suspects trailed Pickens from the Red Wolf Nightclub, in Brooklyn, NY where he just performed.
Homere and Hill were said to face a five-count indictment, charging them with murder, attempted murder, assault, and possession of weapon. Both suspects face up to 25 years to life in prison, if convicted.
