Meek Mill’s bail hearing has been dropped due to a ‘clerical error’. Allegedly there has been a legal mix-up leading to an inaccurately scheduled bail hearing. At this time, Mill remains incarcerated for a probation violation.
The state Correctional Institution in Chester, Pennsylvania reported to TMZ that rapper Meek Mill has been transferred to another prison facility, moving him from solitary confinement and into general population. There he is housed in his own cell.
In fear of “losing control of his mental state”, Meek Mill requested to be moved to general population. According to his legal team, the rapper was assigned to solitary confinement because prison administration “feared” what may happen if Mill was in communication with other inmates.
Entering general population will allow Mill to partake in day-to-day activities like playing basketball, library time, and gym sessions. The Rapper has also been hired to clean prison cells and the prison’s kitchen at a rate of 19 cents and hour.
