A fishing boat capsized off the New Jersey shore on Thursday after it was hit by a whale, police tell the New York Post.
Two fishermen aboard the 20-foot vessel were thrown right into waters one mile off Deal, NJ, in the collision with the sea creature, but were rescued and luckily were not injured, authorities said.
“We watched the whale, we watched the whale and the next thing I know all of a sudden the boat just goes whee and it’s gone,” one of the fishermen said.
