A Celebration- JS aka The Best, Conjures Up A Cinematic Sound W/Bossa Nova

Right from the beginning of the track JS aka The Best holds nothing back on Bossa Nova. From the ambient wash of the keyboards, it feels akin to a force of nature. The way he produces everything with such a shining optimism adds to the immersion. JS aka The Best hold Timbaland in high regard and it is easy to see why – much like their work, his has a living, breathing quality to it.

When those beats hit it is all over. The song features a jazzy influence to it, in part due to the dexterity of the drums. Funky featuring a deep groove that rolls out, he lets the whole sound build itself up. Vocals further add to the sense of luxury that the piece radiates. Almost noir-like at times the song takes its time in exploring the mood.

Lyrics matter too for they have an easy-going carefree quality. Really a great celebration of togetherness, the classy aspect of the track disguises the fact that it is a really great hybrid of so many different influences.

Hard to even pick all the styles out, JS aka The Best delivers a wild, beautiful, and incurably optimistic track with Bossa Nova.
