Today marks the first day of the Harvey Weinstein's sexual assault and rape trial, opening statements are set to begin. Harvey could potentially be sentenced to life in prison. He is charged with five felony counts: first-degree rape, third-degree rape, first-degree criminal sexual act, and two counts of predatory sexual assault. A few actresses that worked with Weinstein are set to testify. This case is very important too many #MeToo activist being that Weinstein's allegation are what sparked the movement.
