Introduced by Wendy Williams and fellow guest Rick Ross, Cardi B performed her hit single Bodak Yellow on a special birthday episode of The Wendy Williams show. The Bronx rapper impressively censors herself for live TV while performing alongside black-clad dancers. Everyone in the audience seemed to vibe to the banger except for Wendy who looked mad lost during the performance.
After the break, Wendy asked Cardi about how she came up with her name, leaving Love & Hip Hop NY, and her relationship with Offset. Cardi revealed her stage name originated from her "Bicardi" nickname because her sister's name is Henessey. On leaving LHHNY, she said she felt "the drama that was going on in my life would overshadow the music".
When speaking about Offset, Cardi became hilariously deflective. She revealed they've been seeing each other since before last SuperBowl but wouldn't get into specifics about how long they've been seeing each other, if they were actually dating, or if she was in love. Wendy meanwhile had a hard time remembering any of the members of Migos.
