Joey Bada$$ Denies Saying He Single-Handedly Inspired '4:44'

After coming under fire for saying he had in some way inspired Jay Z to get in the studio and do his new 4:44 album in the interview below with Montreality, Joey Bada$$ is now backpedaling a bit.

The Brooklyn rapper took to Twitter to clear up his previous statements:

"Before you go and judge me by what the media tells you to, take the time out to actually understand me as an artist and individual. No lies.

Y'all nigg*s acting like I said I single-handedly inspired the album, NO. BUT, I was def ONE of the inspirations.

Listen to #ABBA. My real niggaz know. You kids are way too sleep and you old nigg*z are way too disconnected. But ay, PEACE & LOVE."

Whatever the case is, thanks for 4:44 Hov.
