The Fairly OddParents Live-Action Series Announced for Paramount+

The Fairly OddParents is getting a live-action series! The news was announced on Paramount+ as part of their kids' programming focus!

President of Viacom CBS Kids & Family, Brian Robbins, announced The Fairly OddParents along with a live-action Dora the Explorer show will join the streaming service. They have also announced the new Star Trek kids series. Many streaming services are rebooting some of our favorite shows and Viacom is now digging into their content and pulling out some of their mega-hits for a remake!

Robbins announced that the Dora the Explorer live-action will take after Dora and the Lost City of Gold, a comedy/action movie that came out about the character in 2019.

"Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, nothing could prepare Dora (Isabela Moner) for her most dangerous adventure ever – High School. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego (Jeffrey Wahlberg), a mysterious jungle inhabitant (Eugenio Derbez), and a rag tag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents (Eva Longoria, Michael Peña) and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost city of gold."
