Drake Buys $800,000 Heart-Shaped Diamond Ring For His Birthday: Report

Drake loves his jewelry — especially his diamonds.

According to TMZ, the "Money In The Grave" rapper dropped more than half a million dollars for a custom diamond ring in the shape of a heart in honor of his recent 33rd birthday. Sources told the outlet, Drake "purchased a 22-carat, heart-shaped diamond ring from Gemma Fine Jewelry as a B-day present to himself, and the piece is valued between $600,000 and $800,000." Drake was reportedly heavily involved in designing his newest ring, working alongside Gemma Fine founder Ori Vechler.

As fans know, Drake's new purchase comes just weeks after he commissioned a custom Toronto Raptors 2018-19 championship ring. Designed by Jason of Beverly Hills, the rock reportedly has over 30 carats of diamonds, which is more than any design in NBA championship ring history.

The Canadian rapper reportedly dropped a whopping $150K to make it happen, Complex reported. Jason of Beverly Hills founder Jason Arasheben told the outlet, "This was a championship that was dear to his heart. [Drake] wanted to create an over the top ring that not only paid homage to his city but that made a statement above and beyond anything else in history."

Drake is said to have debuted both his $150K Toronto Raptors NBA championship ring and heart-shaped rock at his star-studded birthday bash in Hollywood last month, wearing the championship ring on one finger and heart-shaped bling on another.

What a life!
