It has almost been two months since the senseless passing of rapper Nispey Hussle took place on March 31, 2019, leaving behind mourning fan and unfinished projects. One project in particular, was left unfinished by the late rapper in collaboration with sportswear company Puma that had yet to be released. In honor of Nipsey Hussle's memory, Puma promises they will drop the collaboration with the late rapper.

Adam Petrick, the Brand Marketing and Global Director of Puma confirmed the news during a sit down with The Wall Street Journal's Future of Everything Festival alongside G-Eazy, who is also a brand endorser of Puma. Wehn asked about the celebrity ambassadors and how they're chosen, Petrick shared some insight on Nip.

“He was somebody that was doing great stuff, and he had this idea about how he could improve the community and how he could push for that…The concept of working with Nipsey just made sense.”

To ensure the Marathon continues, Petrick specifically announced he would be working closely with Nipsey's estate, his family and children.

“We had a lot of things that were coming, and hopefully a lot of things we will still do with his estate. We’ll work with his family and we’ll support his kids…We’re going to continue to release some product that we’ve created with him. We’ve also got some charity activations that we’ll do to support what he was doing in Crenshaw, and trying to continue the work that he was doing through his foundation.” — Adam Petrick, PUMA Brand and Marketing Global Director

The PUMA x Nipsey Hussle collaboration is set to drop this fall.
