Teairra Mari Will Not be Returning to the Love & Hip-Hop Franchise

What a major blow.

Detroit R&B singer Teairra Mari will reportedly not be coming back to the upcoming season of Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood, according to The Jasmine Brand.

Filming has commenced for season six of the hit VH1 show, and sources are telling the black celebrity gossip site that Mari will not be part of the cast for the new season. It’s also been said that she’s her chances of appearing the show at all is slim slim.

The 31-year-old artist has been on the Hollywood spinoff since 2014 after appearing on season two of ‘LH&H: New York.’

This is a significant blow to the former ‘Princess of the Roc’ as she is currently in a legal battle with 50 Cent as she owes him $30,000 from revenge porn lawsuit she lost.

Teairra Mari first came to prominence in the music industry in 2005 when she was signed to Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella label. Her debut album peaked at No. 5, but it’s lead single “Make Her Feel Good” failed to gain any momentum which most likely played a part in the Michigan-native being dropped from her label before her 18th birthday.

But who knows? This could very well be a minor setback for a major comeback for her!

Let us know your thoughts about this situation. Was Mari your favorite cast members on the VH1 show?
