Jacqueline Saburido Garcia, who became the face of anti-drunk driving campaigns after she was severely burned in a crash 20 years ago, has died. She was 40.
She was battling cancer and had moved from her home in Caracas, Venezuela for better access to medical treatment/medicine and had also been undergoing facial reconstruction surgery in Miami to receive skin grafts to form new eyelids, lips and a nose.
The woman lost much of the skin and facial features during a DWI accident.
