Crystal Caines On Working With A$AP Ferg, Dream Female Collab, + Freestyles

This week on The 212 Come Up show we had Harlem rapper, producer, singer, songwriter Crystal Caines pulled up to the show and dropped a freestyle for us!

Crystal works a lot with fellow Harlem rapper A$AP Ferg, speaking on their connect she said "So me and Ferg grew up together, we grew up around the corner from each-other, when he started with ASAP, he reached out to me and we worked together on his first album". She goes on to say that there hasn't been a type of energy in the city like when A$AP Mob started popping out here.

Starting off on more behind the scenes work, Crystal also wanted to be a singer but realized that it wasn't her strong suit, so she started rapping at the age of 16. While at first she wasn't sure if rapping was for her either, once Eve came out it really motivated her to persuaded her to become a rapper.
