Neek Bucks Talks Keeping The NYC Sound, If Bars Still Matter & Freestyles

After announcing our brand new Sunday night show 'The 212 Come Up' show in partnership with AT&T hosted by DJ Suss One & Honey German, we had our first special guest pull up for an Interview + spit a freestyle! Neek Bucks repping Harlem pulled up on the show, only being 24 the young rapper has already gotten over 100K followers and recently dropped a brand new record with Chicago's own Lil Durk called "Energy".

When asked about whether he feels that Instagram and social media is taking away from people paying attention to music he said: "You know instagram is everything, you know all you gotta do is pick up your phone and see whats going on, it takes away from the music, you can say anything you want you can look good". He also said that in the game now bars don't matter coming in, while people like J Cole & Kendrick Lamar exist coming out the gates now it's no longer about spitting.
