'Sex And The City' star Cynthia Nixon just announced that she's running for New York City Governor.
"I love New York, and today I'm announcing my candidacy for governor" she tweeted along with a video which gives us an inside look at her life and links to her campaign page.
Cynthia who is a lifelong New Yorker and progressive activist says she is "running for governor to fight for a better, more equal New York" and her campaign will be powered by the people.
