New Miss USA Takes Back What She Said About Health Care, Feminism

The new Miss USA said she would “love to clarify” the comments that sparked uproar Sunday night during the pageant.

On Tuesday, Miss D.C. Kára McCullough told Inside Edition that she was not surprised by the online backlash, adding: “That's what America is based on, having opinions and views.” McCullough, who works for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, was blasted on social media for what she said during the Q&A at the pageant saying health care is privilege and not a right.
