Rockland County is about to showcase it’s first ever Rockland Fashion Week culminating on Saturday December 7th with a fashion show at the historic Kirkbride Hall in Stony Point NY at 6:30pm.
This event is produced by local and internationally acclaimed fashion designer Hope Wade of Hope Wade Designs. She is no stranger to Fashion Week as her designs have strut the runways of London, New York and Caribbean Fashion Weeks.
“This is an amazing time to showcase the great talent of designers and makeup artists in the Hudson Valley region. We are so excited that Wide World Ferrari has endorsed this local event by hosting this cocktail party which will be on Wednesday December 4th.”
Special celebrity guest Darlene Love will be at the Launch including Legislature Toney Earl and Aney Paul.
Hope designed the red flute gown worn by Darlene on the last Christmas performance on the David Letterman Show singing her famous song ,Baby Please Come Home, which was inducted in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Museum last year.
Some of the local designers that will be a part of Rockland Fashion Week will be Fredlyne Burns of La Painture, Sandra Szpicek Leylegian of The Things I Love and AnnMarie Jameson of Elite Repeat. One of the international designers is Jenelle Reid of Topaz Couture of Canada.
Rockland Fashion Week will have a pop up shop at Elite Repeat in New City and Oluh Hair in Spring Valley.
Rockland Fashion Week will launch the official fashion show on Saturday December 7th at Kirkbride Hall, 5 Patriot Hills Lane, Stony Point NY at 6:30pm.
