Police say they’ve apprehended a man who was sought after in a string of robberies, including this smash-and-grab incident in the Bronx.
The NYPD says in this incident, he smashed the front window of a jewelry store, then reached in and started grabbing the merchandise on display. Meanwhile another man held a bag that the first man kept stuffing with his loot.
The store was open at the time and someone inside tried to lower the mechanical gate
