Minnesota Vikings Honor George Floyd Before Season Opener. Football is back but in Minnesota before the Vikings took on the Packers the team stood in solidarity with George Floyds family and payed tribute to him. The team not only played a video of him in his honor but the Gjallarhorn which signifies the start of the game was not played for the first time since its inception. Floyds family was also present at the game.
