Tri-State: Prepare For Our First Snow Fall

On Sunday we're expecting up to an inch of snow and wintry mix before it turns over to rain. There will also be more wet weather on Monday and we will keep you updated as they day goes by.

Mayor Bill de Blasio tells us that the Department of Sanitation is out with salt spreaders to keep the roads clean.

Check out the forecast by states/counties below:

  • NYC Boroughs: Today and tonight a mix of rain and snow, but mostly rain. High today 41. Low tonight 36. Little or no accumulation. Tomorrow, light accumulating snow later in the day and tomorrow night. A coating to up to 1-3”.
  • Long Island & Fairfield County (CT): Same as NYC. Possible flooding issues. 
  • Most of NJ: Today and tonight, a mix of rain and snow, but mostly rain. Snow later tomorrow accumulating 2-4”
  • Westchester/Rockland/Western Bergen County: Winter Storm Warning til 7am Tuesday. 8-10 inches of snow possible through Tuesday morning.
