Big Sean's heart is almost as big as his newest record produced by Hit-Boy "Bezerk" featuring A$AP Ferg.
The Detroit-raised rap star continues to lead by example by lending a helping hand through his Non-Profit organization, The Sean Anderson Foundation. The Roc Nation artist is not new to philanthropy. He's previously donated a $100,000 studio to Detroit's Dauch Boys & Girls Club and has also previously donated to Wayne State University's HIGH Program before.
This go around, he's donated $10,000 to his hometown university of Detroit. The program stands for "Helping Individuals Go Higher", and that's exactly what B.I.G Sean Don is doing. The generous rapper's mother, Myra Anderson who also serves as the Executive Director and President of his foundation recently spoke out about the organization's contribution to the university. She says,
“We are pleased to continue our commitment to the HIGH Program in support of its dedication to students facing hardships,” She also state in the press release, “The HIGH Program touches the lives of students, helping them as they pursue their higher education goals.”
In 2016, his foundation created a $25,000 endowment for the program, with an additional $15,000 donated in 2017, followed by $10,000 in 2018. The program was started to address student homelessness at the University, and is absolutely something that deserves more recognition.
