The Lion King is only a week away from release and the hype continues to grow as the movie had its world premiere last night with ALL of the stars popping out! Before the premiere, Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino aka Simba in the movie stopped by Jimmy Kimmel wearing a Lion onesie to speak about the movie and what it was like recording the soundtrack.
When asked if he had to sing in the same room as the Queen he jokingly said "I requested not to be, I did not want to be looking in Beyoncé's eyes while doing this", when in reality he was in London shooting "Solo: A Star Wars Story", adding on though that playing basketball with Michael Jordan would be less intimidating than being in the same studio as Beyonce.
The Lion King stars Donald Glover, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, Seth Rogen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Alfre Woodard, Billy Eichner, John Kani, John Oliver, & the legendary James Earl Jones reprising his original role of Mufasa.
