Drake has done it once again! A few weeks ago, we reported that the artist surpassed Michael Jackson on Billboard among artists with the most weeks at the Hot 100βs summit. Over the years, Drake has been known to continuously break records. This year alone, the artist passed icons like Bruno Mars, Jay-Z, Paul McCartney and Adele for most weeks atop Billboardβs Hot 100-- and continues to climb to the top. Today, a popular streaming platform took to Twitter to congratulate Drake on being the first artist ever to reach over 10 BILLION streams. His latest double-album Scorpion was just the push he needed to get him into unprecedented territory; numbers that will surely proliferate over time.
Placing a distant second are a host of "less prolific" artists which have cleared the One Billion mark, a list that includes Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Adele, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, and Cardi B.
