Maino is using music to pay homage to the young man, Lesandro "Junior" Guzman, who was brutally murdered in the Bronx by a group of men outside of a bodega. "I literally made this song this morning" he says about 'Could've Been My Son' which features Lyrivelli.
"I wanna make the truest music that I can make" he says about going into the studio to reflect on what is a moment of mourning for not only the entire Tri-State area, but America as a whole.
Maino who is a father to a 15-year-old man says that although he's been about this street life, this footage has left him deeply disturbed and hurting.
