Marjory Stoneman Douglas senior and survivor of the February 14 mass shooting in Parkland, Fla., Emma Gonzalez, delivered the final speech at Washington's March for Our Lives today and it was quite POWERFUL.
"Six minutes and about twenty seconds. In a little over six minutes, 17 of our friends were taken from us, 15 were injured, and everyone, absolutely everyone, was forever altered," she began her speech.
"Everyone who was there understands, everyone who has been touched by the cold grip of gun violence understands," she continued.
Also in attendance at the march in D.C. were the likes of Common, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Kanye West, Andra Day and Demi Lovato.
