In 2012, Trinidad James released a single "All Gold Everything" which landed him a $2 million dollar deal with Def Jam. Early this morning he took to twitter to announce that he had been dropped from the label. “I should tell yall. I got dropped by the Label. My Album is now free,” he tweeted. “If u hear ur beat or verse on it. I hope u want dap cuz i got no money.” Trinidad, born Nicholas Williams, is only 26-years old. It is said that the deal was premature and may have came too fast. In a 2013 interview, the Atlanta rapper admitted that he has just started rapping.
