A company that was suppose to make 50 Cent headphones "Sleek Audio"  is now saying the "G-Unit" rapper owes them $16M.  In 2011 the rapper had stopped working with Sleek Audio and started working with SMS Audio instead. The breakdown of the "$16M lost"are for

  • $11.6M - For trade secrets & damages of the operation
  • $4.4M - In legal fees & expenses

According to the Sleek Audio reps, Jackson took their design ideas and secrets and made his own headphones which are called "Street by 50 and Synch by 50".

Also according to Chris M. Garner, "It stated in the documents that 50 became interested in the headphone business after seeing the success of Beats by Dr. Dre".
