Before Fat Joe heads to jail (Aug 26) to serve his four-month jail sentence for tax penalties, he came by for an interview with The Breakfast Club.
An interesting fact revealed in the interview was that Fat Joe and Biggie had plans to record a collaborative album. The two, Fat Joe and Biggie, vibed so well that they managed to record four songs together.
To this day, no one knows where the music lies and Fat Joe doesn’t even have a copy of the songs himself.
The collab hit a wall because Joe got a huge offer to record a solo album and enough to start his own label. Puffy couldn't match the offer that Joe received and that's the moment when his solo career began and where the BX + BK project ended.
