During Meek Mill's Breakfast Club interview he professed that he is proud to "shout" on records despite of social media commenters.

Meek explains that there were plenty of rappers to shout on a rap songs and he's not going to stop.

Meek Mill: My new records is more contained now. I'm still screaming loud on a lot of my tracks. I got that contained flow now when I'm talking to 'em. ... It's more clearer. ...

Charlamagne Tha God: So, you yelling on purpose?

Meek Mill: Yeah, of course. I always [yell]. Like Busta Rhymes is yelling. DMX was yellin'. Boosie is yelling. Tupac yelled sometimes. You gotta give people that energy. That's why all the sports players love me. When they workout they get that real feeling. That push. That Energy. Social media, they just say what they want. It's where all weirdos get they opinion[s] [heard]. You hear the most crazy stuff in the world [online].
