Charlamagne Tha God asked J. Cole about a statement made in different interview with Elliott Wilson about making room for "new legends." J. Cole didn't quite agree with what Charlamagne paraphrased, but he did go on to explain the struggle of being percieved as a legend.
"No, you don't have to make room. I don't know if you have to make room [for new legends]. But, you have to watch out for new legends. ...
"It's a caution to the people who are watching or still reminiscing on the Jordans. ... There's people that will ride so hard for Jordan that they denying how amazing LeBron James is, that's the point."
