Many moons ago, 50 Cent almost signed Danny Brown to G-Unit but his style of dress concerned Fif.
Tony Yayo was the one who tried to bring Danny into the camp but 50 Cent kept bugging out because Danny’s jeans were too tight.
Danny also told The Breakfast Club that his welcoming persona wasn’t something that 50 Cent encouraged either.
“He [50 Cent] said he wanted me to be none approachable. Like gangsta. At the end of the day, nothing was negative about that situation. They literally took care of me, took me on tour. I learned so much from being around them. From what to do and from what not to do. It made me know like –after seeing that close to being on a major label and going through the stuff tha the was going through. It just made me want to be more indie.”
Whoa, 50 Cent didn’t sign Danny Brown because of his skinny jeans. Was it an extreme thing to do or nah?
