Brooklyn born rapper, Bobby Shmurda came by the Breakfast Club to discuss his new found success launched by the Shmoney Dance.
Bobby knew he made it when he scored a free meal in NYC because he was recognized for his “Shmoney Dance.”
Charlamagne Tha God: And everywhere you go people are like ‘do the Shmoney Dance.’
Bobby Shmurda: All day. Yesterday I got free lunch from them, actually. We was in Manhattan somewhere hungry. We was walking around [and] we came into the store, they was closing. I’m like aye, ya ain’t go no food? He was like ‘hey, ain’t you that kid that just caught a body about a week ago?’ I said yeah, what’s up?. They was shutting down the grill and everything. I said yeah, I’m hungry you can’t turn the grill back on? He said nah, you can have my food! He gave me his whole food, he started Instagramming me while I’m eating.”
