His last two singles have also featured Spanish artists with Farruko hopping on "Love 66" and El Alfa once more on the latest record "Replica". Stopping by the show today the Staten Island rapper spoke about his transition to Spanish music, his upcoming double Spanish/English album, addressing the 22GZ situation for the first time, his friendship with the Wu-Tang Clan + more!

While starting out releasing drill music with "Whoopty" CJ has since worked on a ton of Spanish music, expressing that he knew this was always something he wanted to do, especially being able to go back to his roots makes this music that much more special for him.

"To be honest I always had this planned out, I always said I wanted to go back to my roots and embrace my heritage and let people know where I come from. Hip-Hop was my first love but I always had in the back of my mind I was going to do both whether it was Spanglish or going back and forth. I always had the idea I was going to do that so now that I'm doing that it's always something I wanted to do, it's a blessing"

The young artist is also making history with the upcoming project citing that he's going to be the first artist to drop both the Spanish and English projects on the same day giving fans a variety to choose from. CJ also promised that on both sides there will be some features from some heavy hitters.

"What I'm doing right now is creating history, this is the first-ever done Hip-hop and Latin project, I'm doing them both at the same time and I'm dropping them on the same date so this is the first time it's ever been done a Latin and hip-hop project, you can either download the Hip-Hop side or the Latin side or both if you want, that's what I'm working on right now, putting that all together as we speak, I got a bunch of heavy hitters on the Latin project a bunch of heavy hitters on the Hip-Hop project, it's going to be history bro"
