After earlier this week it was reported that NeNe Leakes’ husband was not doing well in his battle with cancer, today the family says he has passed away at 66 years old.
In a press release the family spoke about their loss and asked for privacy during this time.
"Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart. After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife Nene Leakes, we ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family & allow them to mourn in private during this very very difficult time.”
Gregg was diagnosed back in 2018 with stage 3 colon cancer, while going into remission, the cancer had returned this past June.
