Migos On Pop Smoke, Bobby Smurda, “Culture 3” Cementing Their Spot

"Culture 3" is here and for the first since "Culture 1" we had The Migos pull up to The Angie Martinez show to speak about their new album, their love for Brooklyn, Bobby Shmurda, Pop Smoke + more!

With Culture 3 dropping three years after the last installment of the project, the trio is back, and this time around their keen on cementing their spot in the game with the project. With features from the likes of Justin Bieber, Drake, Cardi B, Future and the late Pop Smoke & Juice Wrld + more, the trio expressed that at this point in their careers they enjoy going up against the young artists in the game and reminding people who really is running the culture.

Being in New York it was only right for us to speak about the late great Pop Smoke. Quavo who was especially close with the late Brooklyn rapper expressed to Angie how much Pop had done for New York and for bringing drill music to a global scale. Migos, also shared some of their favorite memories with Pop that involves them teaching him more about fashion and taking him to his first Fashion Weak in Paris.

As for Bobby Shmurda, Migos and the rapper have always been close as they both came on the scene at the same time and even performed at Powerhouse NYC together in 2014. As Quavo was the one to pick Bobby up at the airport he expressed that Bobby always held it down for them so it was only right they held Bobby down once he was released from prison. As for some new joints between the group and Bobby, Quavo said they got one but is unsure when it will officially be released to the public.
