Making his grand return we got 26AR back on On The Radar during what is shaping up to be a huge year for the rapper. Being dubbed “Brooklyn’s Drill Hero” by DJ Booth we caught up with AR at Invite Only Studios in Manhattan for our first proper sit-down conversation with the rapper. AR is currently gearing up for the release of his new collaborative tape “Wocky” with fellow rapper Rocko Ballin which is set to hit the streets next Friday, June 4th. Stopping by the show the rapper spoke about the tape, an upcoming album, how he’s blown up over the past year, how he feels about the new drill wave out of the Bronx, addresses the situation with 22Gz + much more.

One of the strongest duo’s in the city right now is of course 26AR and Rocko Ballin, collaborating on huge records "On My Shoulder" & "Maneuver" the two rappers have come together to put out a whole tape for the people. Releasing June 4th Ar exclusively told us the tape is set to be called “Wocky” and will feature production from some of the hottest producers in the city including A Lau, Dizzy Banko, & EliWTF.

“Everything Wocky on there, we sticking to the same s---, everyone knows what it is when we get together, that s--- goes crazy”

Aside from the tape AR also recently teased a new record that he was featured on with Slayter and Kay Flock. Explaining how that record came about he said that it was all through his producer but he messes with Slayter and as for Kay Flock who is a rising Bronx artist, AR calls him his little brother.

“I linked up with Slayter through my producer A Lau he wanted a feature, I messed with it we linked up and finished that. Slayter through Kay Flock on that, but I been f---king with Kay Flock that’s my little brother.

As for what he feels about the entire drill movement from the Bronx, AR expressed its dope to see them do their thing and said that they’re really like rockstars.

"I f--- with it, Kay Flock got that s—t going crazy, they be on some rockstar s---"
