NYC's Most Social Distancing Complaints Go To Manhattan - AGAIN!

Manhattan received the most social distancing complaints of any borough for the third weekend in a row, according to city data.

The city received more than 745 complaints in Manhattan since NYC restaurants and bars reopened for outdoor dining on June 22. Brooklyn followed close behind with 604 complaints.

New Yorkers have reported roughly 2,400 social distancing violations since the start of NYC’s phase two of reopening on June 22, according to Patch.

Those numbers — coupled with a surge in coronavirus cases nationwide — prompted public officials to follow the example of city leaders in other states and have postponed NYC’s return to indoor dining indefinitely.
