Megan Thee Stallion Addresses 1501 Contract Dispute + New Project “Suga”

Thee Stallion was in the building today! In the midst of contract disputes and online drama with her former label 1501 Megan Thee Stallion stopped by The Angie Martinez show today to clear the air on the situation as well as talk about her brand new project “Suga” which is due out tomorrow (Friday, March 6th)

With a whole lot of back and forth going on between 1501 and Meg online these past couple of days, the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper had this to say:

“it kills me, I don’t like drama, and I don’t really like to bring confrontation to the light and if you gonna pick with me I will say something. I’m not greedy, I’m not hateful, I justwant to be treated like a human”.

While there are many varying reports about what actually has been going down with the contract negotiations Meg is adamant that she just wants to drop music for her fans and wants to be treated like a human.

“It’s not that I didn’t read the contract I just didn’t understand it at the time. I Didn’t think it was that serious, people bringing up my mom, she not even here to speak up, I just thought that was pretty low” she goes on, “I’m just gonna thank God that the judge said release that hot girl s—t, I’m just glad I’m able to put out my music”

Moving on to talk about her new project “Suga” which she announced the other day, this project is something for her fans and is not her definitive debut album. The project which features Kehlani and Gunna also will have two songs that were produced by Pharrell.

While the whole internet freaked out after videos surfaced of Meg getting Cozy with G-Eazy after a night out. Explaining to Angie that she does like skinny guys who are taller than her, she did admit that she was real “cozy” with the California rapper.
