Lil Wayne Beats Elvis For Second Highest Number of Top 40 Hits In History

Lil Wayne has surpassed Elvis Presley for the second highest number of Top 40 Billboard Hot 100 songs with 82.

Wayne now sits right behind Drake who has exactly 100 hits and will most likely keep adding to his score as he will be releasing more music through Young Money in result of winning his lawsuit which makes him the sole owner of Young Money Entertainment. Since his newest release of the 13th studio album, Funeral, Wayne has grabbed four Billboard Hot 100 hits. In total, he has 167 career entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, which is the third highest number of hits besides Drake and the cast of Glee who are tied at 207 each. Not bad for an artist who hasn't been able to put out an album for almost 6 years.
