Meek Mill and Jay-Z Are Being Sued Over "Free Meek" Documentary

Meek and Jay-Z are undoubtedly making HUGE strides when talking about the important topic of prison reform.

The two stars along with Amazon and Wenner Media are currently being sued by ex-Philadelphia police officer, Saqueta Williams, for the release of the Amazon documentary "Free Meek" which documented Meek Mill's countless (12 year) struggles with the prison system. Williams appeared in the documentary on the Philly's "Do Not Call" list which is a list of 60 crooked cops who the District Attorney avoids calling to testify in court due to their poor credibility. Since Williams' name and photo was used in the film, she is suing for defamation of character, even though her character was already tainted before the release of the documentary due to her own actions. Williams is also the only officer on the list who is suing and is seeking $75,000 in return for damages.
