Kanye West has been planning a presidential run for some time now (or at-least talking about it) and while the "Jesus Is King" rapper has been keeping himself busy with his weekly Sunday Service and upcoming Opera 2024 is still very much in the cards for Yeezy.
Akon however is ready for the challenge of taking Kanye on at the polls, stopping by The Real yesterday the singer shared his thoughts on Kanye and why he wants to run for President:
“Kanye is not crazy, he’s just been awakened, From a spiritual state, I just feel like he’s awake now. Now he’s the most amazing marketer in the world. He understands his audience, but he’s definitely not crazy, he knows what he’s doing. My thing is, if he does run, it’s great for the culture. Now if you think he’s not fit, that’s another thing, that’s why you got me as another choice."
