If you're a fan of the TV show Power, come get your whole life!
Courtney Kemp, the creator of hit show Power, has confirmed that there are FOUR spinoffs currently under development.
“There’s so many of them. I’m busy working on them right now. We’re shooting one of them right now,” Kemp tells AfterBuzz TV’s Power After Show. “There’s Power Book 2, Power Book 3, Power Book 4, Power Book 5.”
While we don’t know much about the spinoffs, for now it’s been announced that Power Book 2: Ghost will feature Mary J. Blige. “This is probably the most exciting thing that’s going to happen to me this year,” Mary said in an interview with Variety. “I’ve been a fan of ‘Power’ since the very beginning and I want to thank Courtney Kemp and 50 Cent for starting this conversation with me.”
One of the spinoffs is said to be a prequel and another a sequel to the main show. No word on the two.
