Ethiopia is doing the lords work and breaking records in the process! According to CNN the people of the country planted more than 353 million trees in less than 12 hours! The whole initiative is part of "Green Legacy" campaign which was put in place by The Prime minister of the country. The whole point of this initiative is the fight back against climate change and deforestation in the country.
The original goal was to plant 200 Million trees in the time period but since so many of the countries people took part in this they were able to completely CRUSH their original goal!
