A New Jersey woman leaving a car wash on Tuesday plunged straight into the Hackensack River when she pressed on the gas pedal instead of the break says the Hackensack Fire Department.
Video of incident shows the white Mercedes SUV instead of exiting the auto wash around noon and nosediving into the river as shocked car wash watched the whole ordeal.
The driver, and her female passenger, were able to escape from the vehicle and one of them was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center with minor injuries.
